Responding to Student involving in politics? let the student decide

When I 1st read the title, I was glad that finally ALSA release their long and over due statement regarding the UKM4 arrest. As I continue reading the statement itself, I felt so disappointed on what was written. Instead of addressing the simple issue of giving the student the choice to be involve in politics, the statement goes on why we should be involve in politics and how ALSA or KAMI think that students are not ready to get involve in political parties. As a law student and an undergraduate, I would like to state that I am not a part of the many 'KAMI's that were used over and over again in the statement.

There are many different types of university student in Malaysia. It ranges from those who care about what goes on in Malaysia and want things to change to those who are more worried of what colour shoes should be worn to match their top and also those who care but only show their concern and frustration over a cup of tea tarik. Take for example, we have students in private and public universities who have clue in what is going on in Malaysia's political scenario and students who are actively discussing about the political scenario. I am not criticizing those who know nothing about politics, it is their right if they want to know or care about what is going on. But those who are aware of what is going on and would like to get involve in the political party they support are not allow to do so under section 15 of AUKU.

Students should be given the choice to choose what they want to do regarding politics. We do not want the government to decide on whether we can or cannot exercise our fundamental rights that are guaranteed under the federal constitution. The government has no RIGHT to take away such rights of the citizen of the country under the federal constitution. Who is the government to say that the students are not mature enough to understand politics? who is the government to decide if it brings 'kesan positif or negatif' to a student? Under the Federal Constitution, it allows not only student, but every single citizen in Malaysia to decide if they would want to get involve with politics.

Lastly, It is important to have a degree or diploma. Without a degree you can't be lawyer or an accountant or even a doctor. But during the period when the diploma or degree is being obtain, students should also be allowed to practice their fundamental rights as a Malaysian. These are the time where students should make mistake and learn from them. Student should be allow to join different political party they wish to, let them learn about what goes on in the parties itself and allow them to have a better understand how politics works in Malaysia instead of saying that the students are not mature enough for such things.

MyConsti, a service to the rakyat

I am currently involve in the 'Perlembagaanku' or also known as the 'MyConstitution' campaign which was organice by the Constitutional Law Committee of the Malaysian Bar Council. The main aim of the campaign is to educate the people a.k.a the 'rakyat' about the Malaysian Constitution. It is no surprise that many of us today don't know ANYTHING about the Federal Constitution. The term 'PerlembagaanKu' and 'MyConstitution' are trying to say that the federal constitution belongs to the public, which is every single one of you Malaysian... Yes you, you the Malaysian that is reading this.

The campaign is trying to simplify that 303 pages worth of 'constitution' into 2 simple form. One is the Rakyat Service Advertisements (seriously the people who films these videos should be the one doing our national 1Malaysia commercial) and the other is the Raykat Guides. Since my parents still do not want to get me a car, my only mode of transport are KTM and also Cabs....

After almost taking the KTM everyday for the past 2 years, I really wonder 'How does this people, without fail, manage to delay and cancel trains everyday?' Don't you think this is just amazing? I mean, every damn day they can delay and cancel trains.

Could it be there are not enough trains? or not enough employee to drive the trains? or they are to lazy to drive so just cancel the train?

Why bother expending to more places when you cant even get the current location running smoothly?

Don't YOU people think YOU should at least try to minimize the delays and cancelation to maybe 1time in 2 days?

Seeing droplets of tears flow down my angel’s cheek as I make my way into the car, really touched me deeply. I really don’t know what have I done to make her so happy. Seeing something like that make me realize that she is a person who fully deserve my unconditional love.

Being able to be with someone as special as her, makes me feel like I have just won the biggest prize in the world =). It is still hard for me to accept the fact that a girl like her would fall in love with a guy like me.

In case you people haven't been out of your cave house, Mankind have created a few great invention for communication like MSN, Skype, facebook, Blogspot, and email... and I have all of them..

So why the heck you people think that long distance doesn't work??? There are so many ways to stay in touch with each other.. The only different between being in love with some near you and someone who is oversea is the physical relationship (NO i m not talking bout the SEX =.=).

And If your love for someone is deep enough (like mine =D) Then the physical relationship would be not that important when you are away from each other. Just knowing that the person you love is thinking of you, loving you, and is caring for you, it is sufficient enough.

People speak of risk taking in love like 'you should leave him/her to find someone better, Someone who can be there will you all the time....''

For me, I speak of risk that is you should take the risk in loving someone so far away, there is always a risk because you will never know if he or she might be cheating on you on the other side.

I say take that risk. because the day you realize that you are no longer taking it as a risk, you have gain something so beautiful that is what you call pure unconditional love. You fully love and trust the person, you would no longer worry that he or she would cheat on you, no longer worry that the relationship would not work out.

The Case (if any of you are interested to know)
Kia Shen was charge for 1st degree murder of Miss Tai Po Lin
( direct translation = Miss Big Boobies)
Christine tried hard to prove him guilty with her witnesses which ending up getting gun down by me and wen
on the other hand i was trying to prove him not guilty but ending up with my witnesses getting gun down by Christine and Gavin...
for those of you who don't know anything about law and courts..
that what mostly trial lawyers do...
GUN DOWN PEOPLE..

anyway....
I and Wen tried to twist and turn the whole case making everyone else look guilty except for my client (Kia Shen)
Christine and Gavin tried to make him as guilty as possible..

in the end..
both lawyers gave a wonderful closing (''perasan sial'' XD, but Christine one was really goooodddd)
trying our very best to ''buy'' the juries to our sides

in the end it was a not guilty verdict..... only 2 people in the whole jury pool think that Kia Shen was guilty....

Let me start off by saying,

as a legal student in SAM, I learn something call Rule of Law.. which is a legal principle practices every where around the world.
In the 3rd element of Rule of law there is something call NATURAL JUSTICE.
which state that everyone is entitle to defend them self when enter into a relationship with the state.

Raja Petra's case has clearly shown that in this country the fundamental human rights are not even been protected by our government.

Our minster of public complaint bureau is SHOCK that detainees's meals are ONLY RM4.50 a day.

3. Maybe start asking KTMB to improve in their train system so that during peak hours people do not have to wait an hour for a freaking train. WHICH is so dam PACK that we can't even enter in and out?

4.Maybe start dealing with family who cant even support them self?

THings i will do.... (not in order)

1. Increase the salary of government servants
this is to ensure the people who work in the government would not easily be bribe.
research would show that reason for bribing could be cause by low wages paid and high inflation therefore resulting in desperation for bribery. The min wages for police department would increase to Rm1870. this is calculated by the formula
Basic Constable salary = RM 900
Estimated bribe taken per month = Rm 720 ( Rm30 per day )
Total = Rm 1620
EPF =Rm 81 (5%)
Income Tax = Rm 162 (10%)
Total should be receive = Rm 1870

I emphise on the police force is because bribery in the police force must be taken seriously we can not allow gangster to control the police force if our nation is to move forward.

2.Legalize pirated discs.

As we all know if it come to voting for me as PM the country should be in some crappy as state. therefore the public wouldn't have much to spend for entertainment. Therefore during this period as we try to build up the country, i would strongly suggest to legalized pirated disc. this not only can increase the revenue of the Government( able to invest in other sectors). This actually can meet the Market objective of consumer and producers. Consumers want lower price, quality and new product. legalizing these disc can the market achieving these few objective. the revenue of this disc can also go into the major film producing company. as this disc are cheap to produce ( estimated Rm1 per piece or lower when it achieve economic of scale). Malaysia then can be an net exporter of these discs provided if we get the permission of the film producing company. If we are able to sell the idea to them, think about how much profit can the firms earn from producing the disc, the film industry oversea, the revenue for export and taxes.

3. Making all races equal with no discrimination.

This maybe a very sensitive issue to most people in the country. but people can not just stop talking about it. I thinkdeep inside all the races in Malaysia, every single races just want to be treated equally. take for an example indian can have the same rights as an chinese or a malay. Why shouldn't we do that? Its been 50years since we have gain independence from the British. Haven't we learn anything from the independent itself? . the indepence was gain by uniting all races together.

We Malaysian are made up of some many races, i think all would agree that almost each on of you would have a friend of different race. In our youth we are seldom thought to hate another races. I have readers who are indian, chinese, malay and other. I think people who are malaysian and truly ''semangat'' Malaysia should know that we as all races should unite as One big race, that would be call MALAYSIAN, the Malaysian races made up of all different races in the country.

To many people roots are very important to them, so i say why to start the root from here, today make urself a Malaysian Race. make this a landmark for the future generation Malaysian Race. When people as you what race are you. You don't say malay, or chinese or indian, or singh or........( the list can go on and on because we are made of so many races). You say you are a MALAYSIAN RACE.

It is through a strong integration of races and a strong support of this kinda ideas will throughly move our country into the more develop category. Intead of comparing us to countries like Indo, Thai, Philps.. and saying how lucky we are, compare to nations like Singapore, Australia, Us and say how much we have to improve.

The equality giving to all races is vital in achieving better development of country. Playing the racism card it is like a move backward.

He came to me a few nights ago, i asked why he had to leave us. he wouldn't say anything. this has kept me up for hours not daring to back to sleep afraid of seeing him again, afraid to see him go again. ever since he left us. there are nights were he would come to me in my dreams just teasing me with hope that he will return one day, i enjoy his visit but it hurt parting with him. i can still remember the last time i saw him. walking out my gate telling me he will come back soon to teach me maths, guess i m still waiting. a role model to me, a brother to me, nothing i can ask for more...

As d day come 2 a closing end, the boys at the back drinks like ther is no 2mrw, as the girls dance for them on stage, for the last time. they smile and wave while the boys get high and blasted (marvin)..
the day arrived will smoky weather and damp clouds which have jus pour down the last tear frm heaven. the boys march in to the gates of hell, bring only theirs Balls and nothing else.
preparing to face the demon tat will unleash by the black hill devil, that ofcourse stays on the black hill.
each of them fought like they nvr fought b4 only with their bare hands and their bare balls.
one by one they die in a painfull death eaten and spit out by the demon, all of them cried in pain..
so we sing..

i dont knw, think i lost my touch of feeling to blog, stop mapling for some time edi.. no mood 4 all d games and stuff, started dota doh, but dont think i will last long in it,
